Anyone driving into Wales along the A40 will have passed The Bear, just as travellers have been doing since 1432.

Those who break their journey there will be fascinated by the inn’s history, its cobbled courtyard, low beams, flagstone floors, 19th century stagecoach timetable hanging in the bar and its welcoming atmosphere.
