About the venue
Our hotel is perfect for those who wish to organise small board meetings, conferences, team building events or staff training well away from the distraction of a city centre or a busy motorway junction.
The hotel is privately run by a dedicated family team who make it their business to understand your wishes. We are an exclusive hotel and offer a high level of conference service. We are ideal for meetings up to 20 people so that you have the space suited for conducive results. You will never share the conference facilities with any other organisation. The meeting room is adjacent to the hotel and offers a spacious room with comfortable seating in quiet surroundings with natural light from four big windows. Ample power points and telephone connections are situated around the room. An overhead projector, flipcharts and television and video are provided at no extra charge. Light projectors can be hired if needed. The meeting room also has a wireless broadband network that will allow wireless enabled laptops to log on to the web simply. The main room has the flexibility to be laid as boardroom style (as in the picture) or in a theatre style arrangement. For boardroom style the maximum seating capacity is 20 and 40 is the maximum for a theatre style layout. The room measures 9.5m x 4.25m. The ante room provides additional space for breakouts and refreshments and there are ladies and gentlemen's cloakrooms. In summer we find groups working outside under the shade of a tree or in winter next to the fire in the lounge.
