About the venue

The Famous Bein Inn was originally built as a resting place for travellers on the traditional route north from Edinburgh to the Highlands.

It enjoys a peaceful, rural location in picturesque, wooded Glenfarg, just south of Perth, a few minutes off the M90 motorway and less than an hour’s drive from the buzz and vitality of Edinburgh. At the Country Inn we are renowned for our friendly welcome and relaxed, informal atmosphere. Our warm, comfortable décor and blazing log fires are in keeping with our tradition's. All our bright spacious bedrooms have modern facilities such as en-suite bathrooms, colour TV, direct dial telephone, and our restaurant uses the finest local produce, to create imaginative menus, that has been awarded a red rosette from the AA. The Famous Country Inn and Suites is ideally situated for exploring all parts of Scotland, from the history and heritage of Edinburgh, to the wild open spaces of the Highlands, and even to see where the Kings of Scotland were crowned.
