About the venue

Freemasonry can trace its origins to the local fraternities of Stonemasons.

It?s one of the world?s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political and charitable organisations. The degrees of Freemasonry retain the three grades of medieval craft guilds, those of Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason. There are additional degrees, which vary with locality and jurisdiction, and are usually administered by different bodies than the craft degrees.Members are expected to be of high moral standing and are encouraged to speak openly about Freemasonry.
